Introduction to Pranic Healing

Pranic healing is a system of energy based healing which relies on the concept of "prana" to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. "Prana" is the Sanskrit word for "life-force."  It is similar the acupuncture concept of Qi.

Pranic Healing is believed to be a simple yet powerful form of healing that does not involve any direct contact. It is based on the assumption that the body is "self-repairing” and the belief that the healing process can be accelerated redirecting the Prana or Qi.

Pranic healing relies on the treaters assessment of the body’s electromagnetic field, known as their aura.  The practitioner can access the information contained in the aura and essentially contains a mold or blueprint. Diseases are believed to first manifest themselves as disruptions of the aura. You can learn to read your own aura at workshops provided by the inventors of the process

What is the Human Aura?

Scientific experiments conducted by Russian scientist, Semyon Kirlian, using a photographic process showed a colorful, radiant energy field surrounding the people, animals and plants. He named this the aura.  Experiments in Kirlian photography have also revealed that diseased energies appear first before the physical ailment.

Pranic healing is currently being taught to doctors, nurses, massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and lay people.  It is described as simple but effective.

The palms of your hands are felt to contain energy centers called chakras. By techniques taught by Mr. Co, these chakras can be activated to be sensitive to feeling others' aura. Practitioners can locate blockages and cleanse, energize, or revitalize the aura.

Advanced Pranic Healing

Mr Sui believes that every person has inborn healing power. He claims that healing is easier to learn than riding a bicycle.

Pranic healing utilizes the prana or aura of to heal physical and emotional imbalances. It does not require drugs, gadgets not even physical contact with the subject. In Pranic healing this is accomplished by giving the student a step-by-step, cookbook approach to healing.

CLEANSING involves the removal of diseased energy from the aura. Energizing without first cleansing could be likened to pouring fresh coffee into a cup filled with old grounds. Pranic healers believe that cleansing before energizing can push bad energy deeper into the body.  Pushing the bad energy deep into the body can cause a “healing crisis.”  A healing crisis can cause vomiting, fever, diarrhea, fatigue and heavy sweating.

ENERGIZING involves the passing of energy to a patient.  Some of know of a healer or health practitioner who is emotionally drained after a healing or counseling session. Some healers use the battery approach and try to transmit their own life force energy to their subject. In pranic healing the "water pump" approach is described. The analogy is as if we are all swimming in ocean of energy. By knowing how to pump the energy and systematically move energy to the patient, a healer can help them without harming themselves.

DECONTAMINATION protects healers.  Some healers feel sick when life force is perceived to be drained or they feel contaminated by their subjects’ energy.  Decontamination involves the purification of the healing space for the benefit of the healer. By diligently observing this healing hygiene, a healer is assured good health for themselves and their clients.

SYSTEMATICALLY applying energy to the chakras enables one’s energy body and aura to properly absorb energy.  Grand Master Choa has created a list of ailments and corresponding energy centers. Each ailment is associated with a unique group of chakras. Mr. Choa claims that his techniques produce consistent results.

ADVANCED PRANIC HEALING involves the delivery of energy to the body which is then digested into different energies for the various organs. Visualization skills can focus energy such as using red prana on asthma and the blue prana to cool off a subject with a fever.

PRANIC PSYCHOTHERAPY is used to heal emotional and psychological problems. Negative emotions and traumatic experiences may involve negative energy. These energies are often difficult to release with traditional psychotherapy.  Pranic psychotherapy is done without discussing embarrassing personal events.

MEDITATION ON TWIN HEARTS involves the simultaneous healing of ourselves, our loved ones, and the world by communing with the powers of the earth. Many practitioners of  “Meditation on Twin Hearts” believe in the following benefits:  heightened level of intuition; increased healing power; sharper and clearer thinking; inner peace, love and compassion; enhanced spirituality; a brighter and more balanced aura; safe activation of higher clairvoyance; healthier physical bodies; success in life with less stress; and, a more magnetic personality.
